Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone are well-known names internationally within the Wiccan and Pagan communities. They have more than 50 years experience between them in the fields of spirituality and the Occult sciences. Originally initiated into Wicca, they have explored several other paths, including Spiritualism, Spiritual Healing, Voudon, Hinduism, Shamanism and Ceremonial Magic to broaden their path.
Janet is best known for writing with her late husband, Stewart Farrar, some of the classics of modern Witchcraft: "The Witches' Goddess", "the Witches' God" and the best-selling "A Witches' Bible". To date, Janet has written more than 10 books including three with her current co-author and partner, Gavin Bone. She came into Wicca in 1970, being an initiate of Alex and Maxine Sanders.
Gavin is a trained Registered Nurse and is a natural spiritual (empathic) healer. He came into Shamanism and Witchcraft in 1985 as an initiate of Ray Buckland's Seax-Wicca. Prior to this, he had also explored many of the Eastern paths, looking at their relationship with ancient European Spiritual practices. Alongside Janet and her late husband Stewart, he co-wrote "The Healing Craft". With Janet, he regularly gives lectures and experiential workshops in the U.S., Europe and Australia.
